We’re over the ‘half-way’ point of summer and the fall semester will be here before you know it! This month we’ve included reminders of important information you’ll need as you solidify your plans for returning to campus and information for incoming first-year students (‘26) around what to expect as housing assignments are released later this month.
First-year students will receive their housing assignments the week of July 25th. Upon receiving email notification of their assignment, students will be able to log into the housing portal to see their assignment, roommate (if applicable), and move-in timeframe for August 17th.
As a reminder, the class schedule for Move-In is below:
- First-year and transfer students will have the opportunity to move-in on Wednesday, August 17th from 8 AM – 4 PM EST.
- Continuing students – meaning sophomores, juniors and seniors – will have the opportunity to move-in on Friday, August 19th, Saturday the 20th or Sunday the 21st from 9 AM to 4 PM EST.
We’ll be sending final information regarding check in and our opening week to their wfu.edu email address, so make sure they’re checking regularly in the coming days.
If your student is living on-campus for Summer Session II, they will soon be receiving information regarding move-out and transition to their fall assignment. As a reminder, all students are expected to be out of their summer assignments by Friday, August 12 by 7 PM EST.
