As one chapter closes for the Class of 2025, another opens for our continuing and incoming students. This month, we celebrate our graduating Deacs, welcoming our incoming Deacs, and sharing some important reminders for our continuing students.
We want to take the time to congratulate the Class of 2025! For those of you with a student graduating, please know that you and your Deac will always have a home away from home here on campus.
Of impressive members of the Class of 2025, we want to give special thanks and congratulations to our graduating RA’s and Graduate Staff. We are deeply grateful for their commitment to our communities and the residential experience of our students.
Incoming Students (Class of 2029)
For those of you with incoming students, please note that the Housing and Dining Application, as well as their photo for their Deacon OneCard ID, are all due on July 1st, 2025.
The Housing and Dining Application can be accessed via the Housing Portal. (Please note that only your student can access this link, via their ‘@wfu.edu’ email address). Students who would like to request a disability-related accommodation should visit our housing and dining accommodations page. Incoming students must submit requests and supporting documentation by July 1.

Summer Housing
For those with students moving back to campus, check-in for Summer Session 1 housing will be on Tuesday, May 27, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in our offices in Angelou Hall.
Those interested in returning to campus housing for Summer Session 2 should keep in mind the upcoming dates and deadlines for housing selection:
- May 27, 2025– Summer Session 1 only and full Summer application and selection closes
- June 18, 2025 – Summer Session 2 Only selection opens
- July 3, 2025 – Summer Session 1 Check-out by 2 p.m.
- July 7, 2025 – Summer Session 2 check-in from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- July 7, 2025 – Summer Session 2 Only selection and application close

Suite Rearrangement Requests (Continuing Students)
Students who selected their 2025-2026 Housing Assignment and wish to make changes to the room assignments in their suite/apartment can submit a request by July 15, 2025.
Second-Round of Housing Selection (Continuing Students)
Students have received emails from our office if they are participating in the Sound Round of Housing Selection, which will take place on Wednesday, July 16, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. EST.
Any student under the residency requirement who did not select during Housing Selection is automatically placed into the second round. The Second Round of Housing Selection is a planned and regular part of our assignment process and occurs each year. During this process, students may, based on availability, choose: a single room, a double room with a roommate of choice, or a remaining bedspace in a double (with an existing roommate).
Should your student need disability-related housing accommodations, please review our process at rlh.wfu.edu/accommodations and begin your request in the Housing Portal at go.wfu.edu/housingportal. The deadline for all requests – including supporting documentation- to be reviewed before the second round is July 1, 2025. Please note that our ability to meet recommended accommodations at this point in our processes is based on available inventory.
