Fall 2017 Leaf Blowing

On Monday, October 9, 2017, Landscaping Services will begin to conduct leaf blowing activities that will continue through winter break.

Leaf blowing will occur during the weekdays around the residence halls in parking lots and along sidewalks, starting no earlier than 6:00 AM.  Blowing of leaves in landscape areas directly next to residence halls will begin at 9:00 AM. Landscaping Services will use some “low decibel” backpack blowers to help reduce the noise.

Please be advised that this will occur on rotations, to ensure that all of campus is covered equally, and to maintain safe and clean environments.  Landscaping Services will do its best to avoid interruptions and will also be conscious of student’s concern for quiet times during increased exam time periods.

Feel free to contact the Office of Residence Life and Housing at housing@nullwfu.edu.edu or 336-758-5185with any questions or concerns.
